Whisperfield Kennels Presents "COOLER"
CH SUNNYFIELD FOOLER COOLER, JH (Can/Am CH NMK''s Sports V Sibelstein, JH X Hot Fudge, CD) May 21, 1988 - July 17, 2001 Cooler - you were the sweetest guy there ever was !! We acquired Cooler from Dale and Sue Buckler (Sunnyfield Kennel - Michigan). We picked him up at 6 weeks of age, and the next day headed up to Northern Ontario on a camping/fishing trip. The 3 of us stayed on the lake's shore in our pick-up and camper. The first thing Cooler did when we got to our site, was run down to the lake and fall off the small dock, into the lake. That first plunge started his love for water. For a week, Cooler rode around with us in the canoe, basked in the sun in the canoe and on "my" lawn chair on shore. Even into his senior years, Cooler remained a kid at heart. When someone came to the door, the other dogs barked. Not Cooler. He would stay very calm, but still excited, and greet you at the door with a toy in his mouth. He was always a very gentle, calm, and cool dog, even when he was taking acupuncture in his last few months, to help relieve some pain and stiffness. Cooler was a great hunting companion, worked fairly close for us "slow walking" hunters, and would even run rabbits, and "hark" on the line. He was so gentle with puppies, and became best buddies with our beagle puppy, Indy. "Cooler-Man" We Miss You |
