Coffee had truly been the "starting point" for WHISPERFIELD KENNEL.

Coffee's show career started at 6 months of age in Northern Ontario, taking 2 Puppy Groups, and Best of Breed over her Dad, Cooler!! She finished her Canadian Championship at 10 months of age, with a 5 point win.
In 1992, at under 2 years of age, Coffee became the #2 Shorthair in Canada, and attained her American Championship that same year.
And in 1993 proudly attained the high honour of #1 SHORTHAIR IN CANADA. The next year, in 1994, Coffee completed her American Junior Hunter title, with great scores and a lot of nice comments on how such a beautiful "show dog" could hunt so well. Pat actually shot her first pheasant over Coffee, on Coffee's first actual "real" hunt. What a thrilling day that was!!
In 1995, 6 months after having her first litter, Coffee received that dream award of
BEST IN SHOW !! The first for WHISPERFIELD……
Coffee is the dam of 12 Canadian Champions, and 4 American Champions including:
BIS CH WHISPERFIELD LIKE A ROCK
#1 Shorthair in Canada in 1998
Coffee is also the dam of 3 Best Puppy in Show Winners, as well as many, many puppies that have gone to wonderful hunting and pet homes.
At almost 15 years of age, Coffee still loved her food !! and still had a great nose for sniffing out any crumbs on the floor. Coffee passed away peacefully with me by her side.
"Coffee-Woffee" you will always be #1 in our hearts. We miss you dearly.
